Thanks for supporting Union Local 00. I'm the official loudmouth douche bag of this outfit, [the honorable] NICK WOLFF. THE
REASON WE'RE HERE IS SIMPLE: TO DESTROY INDEPENDENT PROMOTION COMPANIES, those swindling, lecherous bastards who are taking
the little bit of money that small bands (and clubs) need to survive, for doing nothing (where's the flyers and college radio
promotion, you fuckin' hacks?), just because we're too lazy and unorganized to do the shit ourselves. Well, this is where
that ends!!
If bands can work together locally and regionally, we can get more bands to catch on, and realize that they're gettin' fucked.
Then we can work together to book shows and actually get paid for playing (NOT THE OPPOSITE), and help promote each other.
This union is the way to organize and keep each other honest, to 1. Build our local scenes; 2. Not get fucked with by closed-circuit
clubs and promoters (strength in numbers); 3. To help book bands from out of town and pay them (go figure); 4. To keep prices
low on shows (we're catering to kids, rockers, punks, and drug addicts, for godsake); and 5. To help young bands grow without
being fucked with and buried.
